Akbari defeated Hayat Health Institute 7–0 to win a 30-team futsal tournament in Farkhar district, Afghanistan’s General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports said.
The tournament was organised by the Takhar provincial football federation’s representative office in cooperation with the provincial Physical Education and Sports Directorate.
Thirty teams participated in the competition, which continued for one week before concluding with Monday’s final.
Akbari delivered a decisive performance in the championship match, scoring seven unanswered goals against Hayat Health Institute.
The result secured the tournament trophy for Akbari, while Hayat Health Institute finished as runner-up.
