Tariq Shahid High School defeated Omari Youth 2–0 to win an 11-team football tournament in Ishkamish district, Afghanistan’s General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports said.
The competition was organised by the district representative of the football federation in cooperation with Takhar’s Physical Education and Sports Directorate.
Eleven teams participated in the tournament, which continued for two months before concluding with Monday’s final.
Tariq Shahid High School faced Omari Youth in the deciding match and secured the championship with a two-goal victory.

The competition was one of several district-level events organised in Takhar to provide local teams with structured competitive football.
