Sarsabz Yashlar Faryab’s newly recruited Iranian players have left Tehran for Kabul to join the club ahead of the sixth Afghanistan Champions League season.
The players are expected to link up with the rest of the squad as Sarsabz Yashlar completes its preparations for Afghanistan’s leading domestic football competition.
The Faryab representative has strengthened its squad with the Iranian recruits as it seeks to enter the new season with greater depth and improved competitiveness.
Sarsabz Yashlar will face defending champion Abu Muslim Farah in the opening fixture of the sixth season.
The match will provide an early test for the reinforced Sarsabz Yashlar squad against the reigning league champion.
