Arman FC recovered from a goal down at half-time to beat Khurasan Faryab 2–1 in the Afghanistan Champions League on Sunday.
Khurasan went into the break with a 1–0 advantage, leaving Arman facing the prospect of a third consecutive defeat.
The response came after half-time. Tanin Azizi brought Arman level before Suliman Aria scored the second goal to complete the turnaround.
Aria was named Player of the Match for his contribution to the comeback.
The victory ended Arman’s two-match losing run and gave the side its first opportunity to build momentum after a difficult start to the competition.
Khurasan, meanwhile, left without a point despite taking a lead into half-time.
The result adds another three points to Arman’s campaign as the sixth season of the Afghanistan Champions League continues in Kabul.
