Afghanistan will host Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in the United Arab Emirates during an extensive international programme across all three formats in October and November 2026.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board said the programme will begin with a one-off Test between Afghanistan and Bangladesh from October 9 to 13.

An ODI tri-series involving Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will follow from October 17 to 23.

Bangladesh will face Zimbabwe on October 17, before Afghanistan plays Zimbabwe on October 19 and Bangladesh on October 21. The two leading teams will contest the final on October 23.

Afghanistan will then play three T20 internationals against Zimbabwe on October 27, October 29 and November 1.

The programme will conclude with two Tests between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. The first Test is scheduled for November 5–9, while the second will take place from November 13–17.

All matches will be staged in the United Arab Emirates, although the Afghanistan Cricket Board has not yet identified the individual venues.

ACB chief executive Naseeb Khan said the programme would provide Afghanistan with valuable competition across different formats and further strengthen relations with the Bangladesh and Zimbabwe cricket boards.
