The Sports Development Directorate for Schools, Madrasas and Universities of the national sports administration organized a sports demonstration programme at Noor-ul-Bashar Afghan Private School to mark Afghanistan’s Independence Day.
Athletes from three disciplines, ITF Taekwondo, gymnastics and Kung Fu To’a, performed demonstrations in front of nearly 1,000 students from five private schools.
Organizers said the programme aimed to promote sports culture among students and encourage young people to participate in sporting activities.
Sports demonstration programmes are held in educational institutions to introduce students to different disciplines and encourage greater participation in physical and sporting activities.
