Amo Sharks continued their impressive campaign in the 11th edition of the Shpageeza Cricket League with a convincing 33-run victory over Band-e-Amir Dragons after successfully defending a total of 170 runs.

The result marked Amo Sharks’ fourth win of the tournament and further strengthened their position in the competition.

Chasing a target of 170, Band-e-Amir Dragons were unable to build the partnerships needed to reach the total despite a fighting unbeaten knock from Farmanullah Safi, who scored 54 runs. His innings included five sixes, making him the leading six-hitter of the match, but he received limited support from the other batters as the Dragons fell short of the target.

Amo Sharks’ bowling attack delivered a disciplined performance throughout the innings. Right-arm fast bowler Abdullah Ahmadzai led the attack with outstanding figures of four wickets for 38 runs, while Yamin Ahmadzai provided crucial support by claiming three wickets for 32 runs. Their combined efforts played a decisive role in restricting Band-e-Amir Dragons and sealing another important victory for Amo Sharks.

Abdullah Ahmadzai’s performance proved to be the defining factor of the contest. The right-arm pacer consistently troubled the Band-e-Amir batting line-up, finishing with four wickets while conceding 38 runs. His match-winning spell earned him the Player of the Match award and played a central role in Amo Sharks’ successful defense.
