Herat Etisaar secure title as Kabul Naseem FC finish second in inaugural eight-day competition

Herat Etisaar won the championship of the Afghanistan Futsal First Division League as the tournament concluded in Kabul after eight days of competition.

Organized by the Futsal Committee of the Afghanistan Football Federation in coordination with the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, the league featured six teams competing in a round-robin format.

The participating teams were Kabul Naseem FC, Parwan Shaheen, Baghlan Yawali, Nimroz Shek Pooshan, Balkh Yaran Omar, and Herat Etisaar.

At the end of the league, Herat Etisaar finished in first place with 13 points, followed by Kabul Naseem FC with 10 points, while Parwan Shaheen secured third place with 7 points.

The final match of the league was played between Kabul Naseem FC and Parwan Shaheen, where Kabul Naseem claimed a 7–4 victory.

Individual awards were also presented at the conclusion of the competition. Salman Jaghfari of Herat Etisaar was named Best Goalkeeper, his teammate Sadeq Faqiri won the Top Scorer award, while Nemat Amiri of Kabul Naseem FC was selected as the Best Player of the league.

The First Division League was held for the first time in Afghanistan with the aim of identifying the top two teams for promotion to the Afghanistan Futsal Premier League and supporting the development of futsal nationwide. As a result, Herat Etisaar and Kabul Naseem FC secured qualification to the top-tier futsal league.
