Paktika brought together 120 martial artists from eight Afghan provinces for a regional competition in Sharan, with the host province finishing at the top of the standings.

The competition, organised by the Paktika Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, featured athletes from Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni, Zabul, Kandahar, Logar, Nangarhar and Kabul.

Paktika claimed first place, followed by Paktia in second and Logar in third.

With athletes travelling from eight provinces, the competition provided a common platform for martial artists from different parts of Afghanistan to compete against one another. The result also gave the host province the top team position at an event that brought together competitors from a broad geographic area.
