FIFA has announced that the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album has generated more than 336 million streams worldwide, highlighting the growing influence of the tournament beyond football.
The album’s success has been driven by several hit songs, including Dai Dai by Shakira and Burna Boy, DNA by Andrea Bocelli, David Guetta, Megan Thee Stallion and EJAE, and Game Time by Future and Tyla.
According to FIFA, Dai Dai currently ranks among Spotify’s top global tracks, while multiple songs from the official album have entered Shazam’s Global Top 200 chart.
The music campaign has also enjoyed significant success on digital platforms, with FIFA reporting more than 364 million views across YouTube music videos and visualisers linked to the tournament.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the strong global response demonstrates how the World Cup has evolved into a celebration of football, music and culture, bringing fans together both on and off the pitch.
The tournament’s opening ceremonies featured an unprecedented lineup of international artists whose combined social media following exceeds one billion people, further amplifying the event’s global reach.
FIFA Sound is the official music programme of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The initiative combines performances from leading international artists with football entertainment, aiming to unite fans worldwide through music, culture and sport during the tournament.
