Afghanistan’s U-20 national football team has stepped up preparations for the upcoming Asian qualifying competition in Bahrain under the supervision of Iranian head coach Kourosh Barmak.

The young national players are focusing on physical fitness, tactical preparation and team coordination as they work toward the qualifiers.

Afghanistan’s goalkeepers are also undergoing intensive training under goalkeeper coach Hamidullah Yousufzai.

The sessions are focused on improving quick reactions, positioning and shot-stopping as the goalkeepers seek to enter the competition fully prepared.

The training programme is part of Afghanistan’s preparations for a strong performance in the qualifying campaign in Bahrain.
