
Equipment was delivered for upgrading football pitches in Herat, Ghazni, Kandahar, and Logar under a FIFA-supported development project.

The first shipment of equipment for the artificial turf replacement project for football fields in Herat, Ghazni, Kandahar, and Logar provinces arrived in Herat on Monday evening, 28 Hamal 1405.
The project, implemented through the efforts and continuous follow-up of Mohammad Yousuf Kargher, President of the Afghanistan Football Federation and member of the FIFA Technical and Development Committee, has now entered its operational phase.
The initiative is considered a significant step toward improving sports infrastructure and standardizing football facilities across the country.
The turf replacement will provide better training conditions, enable hosting official matches, and support the development of young football talent in Afghanistan.
The Afghanistan Football Federation expressed gratitude for the support of the FIFA Development Committee and reaffirmed its commitment to further advancing football infrastructure and development nationwide.
