The first week of the Faryab Premier Football League came to an end with Esteghlal Almar defeating Aryan 4–1 in the final match of the round.
Saleh Jamili scored twice for Esteghlal Almar, while Nematullah Karimi and Naser Adel each added a goal to secure a comfortable victory for their side.
Following his outstanding performance during the match, Nematullah Karimi was named Player of the Match.
The result gives Esteghlal Almar a strong start to the competition as teams continue their campaign in the provincial football league.
