Kabul Red Crescent Wins 13-Team Bamyan 3×3 Basketball Tournament

Kabul Red Crescent defeated Kabul Harirod 21–11 in the final to win an interprovincial 3×3 basketball tournament in Bamyan.

Thirteen teams representing Kabul, Herat, Nangarhar, Ghor and host province Bamyan participated in the three-day competition.

The tournament was organised by the Bamyan representative office of the Afghanistan Basketball Federation in cooperation with the provincial Physical Education and Sports Directorate.

Kabul Red Crescent produced a decisive performance in the championship game, scoring 21 points while limiting Kabul Harirod to 11.

The result secured first place for Kabul Red Crescent, while Kabul Harirod finished second. Herat’s MNS Auto 1 team claimed third place.

Organisers said the competition was conducted within the FIBA 3×3 basketball framework to provide healthy recreation, promote basketball and identify emerging young players.

The tournament concluded on Friday after three days of competition. The official report did not publish complete match results, individual player statistics or details of awards presented after the final.
