Omar Zawak and Toofan Herat Secure Champions League Wins

Omar Zawak and Toofan Herat recorded victories on Friday as the second and third matches of the sixth Roshan Afghanistan Champions League season were completed.

Omar Zawak faced Khorasan Faryab in the day’s first fixture and secured a 2–0 victory.

In the following match, Toofan Herat defeated Esteghlal Kabul 3–1 to make a winning start to its campaign.

The results gave Omar Zawak and Toofan Herat three points each as the opening round of the national competition continued.

Ten teams are participating in the sixth season, which is being played over two stages using a home-and-away format.

The competition is scheduled to continue until November 21, 2026, corresponding to 30 Aqrab 1405.
