Afghan athletes continue their campaign in the Asian Taekwondo qualification event in Ulaanbaatar.

Two Afghan taekwondo fighters have been defeated in the Asian Taekwondo qualification competitions currently underway in Mongolia.

Ashraf Shokran lost to his Tajik opponent in the -78kg weight category, while Hikmatullah Zain was defeated by a Hong Kong athlete in the -68kg division.

A total of six athletes and two coaches are representing Afghanistan in the tournament.

The event, featuring participants from 34 countries, began on May 21 in Ulaanbaatar and will continue until May 25.
