Logar Top Nine-Province Kung Fu Competition Involving 130 Athletes
Logar finished first in a kung fu competition involving 130 athletes from nine Afghan provinces. Kabul placed second and Ghazni third in the one-day event.

Logar’s kung fu athletes took first place in a one-day interprovincial competition involving 130 competitors from nine Afghan provinces, with Kabul finishing second and Ghazni third.
The tournament, held in Logar under the title “Support for Unity”, brought together participants from Logar, Kabul, Paktia, Khost, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Paktika, Kandahar and Helmand, according to a Bakhtar News Agency report published on Thursday, 15 October.
Logar’s provincial physical education and sports chief, Muzammil Naimzai, confirmed the nine-province field to Bakhtar. The agency reported the overall provincial standings but did not provide individual bout results or medal totals.
Habibullah Faizi, a kung fu federation official in Kabul, said the competition was organised to give provincial athletes opportunities to compete and identify promising participants. The gathering brought together competitors from southern, eastern and central provinces in a single event.
Bakhtar also spoke to Sayed Zabihullah Kazemi, a competitor from third-placed Ghazni, who welcomed the opportunity for athletes to take part in provincial competition.
